Oh my god! I just can’t believe this but Dialog is now offering a feature to track the data usage amount for mobile broadband.
Today I paid my bill in Cargills and came to My Dialog to check out the bill. In left pane I found a new item called “Data”. I was pretty exited and clicked the link and found that now we can track the data usage via My Dialog.
To track
- Log into My Dialog
- Choose (or add – in case you haven’t done so far) your data connection
- Click My Data on left pane
If your mobile number doesn’t have data connection attached to it, you’ll get following error message.
Earlier you need to track using the software that is embedded with the HSPA modem, but this software will not work on linux also if you change your computer then it’ll start from zero to calculate. Now we’ve got the ultimate solution for the above problem.
mmm.. Dialog impressed me. I used to hate dialog for making such a silly small mistakes. I hope now they understand the reality. May be the market conditions made them realise the importance of providing such services.

Dialog HSDPA has a tricky policy (FUP). they bill you monthly day14th to next month day14th with due date of 2 weeks ahead. if customer pays considering due date and it is a date 10days behind for the next billing date, all customers who has used more than 6GB data according to FUP have wait next 10 days to get your connection back to normal speed or else have pay 100 rupee for a day till next billing cycle. in this case 100×10 1000 rupees more to the normal bill.
Basicly though you pay your monthly bill on time still you have to pay lot more with poor quality connection and its counting!…this is sucks …
do not go for it ….!!
