During this year’s Google I/O developer conference Google has announced its next upcoming version of the Android. As you know they name their releases after some desert item. This time the victim is “Ice Cream Sandwich”.
What is so special with this release is, it’ll bring phones and tablets together. As we know, previously Gingerbread is released for phones while Hone comb is released for Android Tablets. Ice cream sandwich eliminates this gab between phones and tablets means this version of Android will run on both Tablets and Phones.
If you have missed the keynote speech @ this year Google I/O, I’d recommend you to watch it. Its very obvious that Google is putting more effort on Android and Chrome OS. Good news for both Android devs and users. Check out the Google I/O 2011 keynote video below.
