I was watching Hitman (Unrated Edition)
movie and wondering how much it interrelated to the The Bourne trilogy . Movies in this kind of sequence are a trend in Hollywood?A world wide man hunt against a single person and how the single person resists and out smarts the officials. In the Hitman movie Interpol is behind the killing machine and in the Bourne movies CIA is trying to hunt down a former state agent, again a killer machine designed by the CIA itself.
If we compare the movie Hitman and Bourn trilogy, Bourn trilogy is much better than the Hitman movie. Hitman is a poor adaptation from a famous game (e.g. Hitman Trilogy (Includes Silent Assassins, Blood Money and Contracts)
), where Bourn trilogy is based on a real novel (e.g. The Bourne Identity ). You hardly find a loop hole in the Bourne movie. For me, Hitman is a smart copy of Bourn trilogy. Even the theme music is same!!!!Not even in movies even in English novels we can see this kind of storytelling. As I remember, most of Dan Browns novels are like this, also in Sidney Sheldon’s The Doomsday Conspiracy
where a US secret agent was set to find out about some people around the world. Once he finished his job, the officials try to kill him off.Anyway I like to see this kind of movies. At least you will get to see different countries and different cities. I think we can expect more movies and novels on this style.
