LG OPTIMUS GT540 was given an official update to Android 2.1. I don’t think there will be an update for GT540 in future as LG is busy with their new hand sets. Which leaves us with unofficial ROMs.
CyanogenMod 7 is a custom ROM for Android phones with stunning UI tweaks. One Russian guy made a ROM for GT540 too. You can upgrade your phone to latest Ginger Bread 2.3.3 🙂 yeah its very tasty lol.

I have using LG -P509 model phone…can i put cyanogenmod 7 for my devices?
